The form of Touchwood’s Leicester third worked out well so along with the booking of Oisin Murphy he was made favourite on our trip south of London!  Not the easiest draw and some interference early meant we were shuffled back with plenty to do turning for home but Woody found another gear to lead inside the final half furlong and win by a neck

 TOUCHWOOD, who attracted strong support, had it all to do on straightening but found plenty, coming home strongly to notch a second C&D success and fifth in all. He’ll still be competitive after reassessment.
