Great to finally get South Shore’s head in front.  A first time hood seemed to help settle him as did the strong early pace into the bend and the intermediate distance of five and a half furlongs.  Jimmy got a charmed run up the inside rail to win by a neck.

SOUTH SHORE settled better in a first time hood to register his second success. He had a kind trip against the rail but, given he last won off a 15lb higher mark, he can remain competitive.
