It was great to see King Sharja get his head in front for the first time this season, having been knocking firmly on the door with three runner-up finishes!  Given a lovely ride by Tom Kiely-Marshall, King travelled nicely before getting on top to pass the post a length and three-quarters in front for a first win over a mile.

KING SHARJA, back up in trip, saw it out best into a headwind to notch his first win of the year and his first turf win away from Beverley. He’ll escape a penalty in the short-term.
