A return to 7f on an easy track was just the trick for Filey Beach to lose his maiden tag under Jimmy; especially well ridden to bag the rail from stall 14!

FILEY BEACH was drawn widest, so his rider did well to get him right across in front of the entire field in order to gain the early lead. This was only his second go in this grade, but the first was over 6f on a sharp track and this proved more up his street, always finding enough to hold off his rivals. He hasn’t been with this yard for long so another small race could come his way.
