Daytona Lady has been in good form on the AW over the winter but with no races suitable on that surface we chanced our luck off a lower handicap mark on the turf.  In first time cheekpieces Jimmy brought her from last to first to win by a neck.

DAYTONA LADY entered the race in good form and picked up strongly in the added cheekpieces for a first win on turf, at just the fifth attempt. She could be capable of better in the headgear on this surface.”
