Great to finally find the key to Cushty and unlock her first win!  Ridden by Hollie Doyle, there was a sedate early gallop but Hollie sent Cushty for home 3f out to ensure we didn’t get caught flat footed and won by half a length despite hanging left.

CUSHTY had looked to be going the wrong way but she has form over shorter and proved best placed in the sprint for home, winning for the first time on this 15th start. Racing from 2lb out of the weights, she has scope from a handicapping perspective but this isn’t form to trust and she’ll need to back it up.
