Delighted to see Magic Runner loose her maiden tag under Jimmy at Wolverhampton.   Having run well on more than one occasion at Dunstall Park she deserved to get her head in front.. although it didn’t look very likely for most of the race – Jimmy was at his best with a “never say die” ride to come from well off the pace to take the race by half a length.

MAGIC RUNNER had to wait for things to open up but once she got some daylight she ran on well to get there near the line. The leaders had gone quickly and were slowing down, but she was the only one to come out of the pack to challenge.
