The Racing Club Open Morning – 11th April 2026
Welcome to The Racing Club Open Morning Gallery. Members were treated to a special parade of Magic Runner, with Ruth delivering an engaging commentary on the filly’s development and offering insight into the yard’s daily routines.
Afterwards, Magic Runner joined her four stablemates in the paddock, putting on an energetic display as they galloped freely and let off steam. The morning continued with a demonstration of Ruth’s unique double-lunging exercise, featuring Betweenthesticks and Emerald Army. Guests learned how this method supports Ruth’s training approach, giving the horses both freedom and a sense of competition as they move together.
A warm and sociable atmosphere rounded off the event, with tea, coffee, Mum’s homemade lemon drizzle, and biscuits enjoyed while chatting with Ruth, her team, and family members.
