Badri showed he can act on the turf as well as the AW when romping home over 5f at Beverley under Ryan Sexton.
“BADRIwas well handicapped based on his recent AW form but had something to prove back on turf. He showed here that the surface is less important than a good gallop/stiff finish, coming home strongly down the outside to sweep past the majority of the field, who all looked one-paced in comparison. He’ll go up a fair chunk for this but he’s only had four goes (won three) over the minimum trip and he’s still improving.”
